I was flying back from Dublin for work and watched the The Secret Life of Walter Mitty on one of those swayback screens.
It’s not for everyone, but I thought it was pretty darn excellent.
During one scene Kristen Wiig starts signing a Bowie song and Ben Stiller’s character gets enough gumption to jump in a helicopter to continue his grand adventure.
I spent some moments after the credits rolled, thinking about life, taking chances on things, and being aware of the moment. In some ways I felt like I was already riding in that helicopter. Just a little bit.
