Supernova

At some point I’ll note Ray Lamontagne‘s first album Trouble as a favorite. His subsequent releases tread on similar ground and all have merit, but Supernova, with production by fellow Ohioan Dan Auerbach went in new directions.

Hazy summers of the 70’s directions. It’s a record I tend to listen all the way through, so it’s hard to pick a track to highlight but here’s Drive-in Movies.

Sidenote: I’m starting each morning trying to add a photo and a favorite to the site. It’s a terribly zen and fun way to kick off the day. Today’s favorite inspired by what I pulled out of the closet to wear.
