Pendleton Mapped

Wheeling around Pendleton on Sunday morning. The area is changing so fast. Some of it? Not so pretty. Most of it? Quite nice. I’ve always enjoyed this mural by Barbara & David Day, “Pendleton Mapped,” which tells the the 200-year story of the neighborhood.

Beguiled by the Wild

The above photo came out of the camera demanding no additional editing (unlike the poorly lit image below). I’ve seen glimpses of this Beguiled by the Wild mural online, but finally took a detour to see it in person. I didn’t realize the 18 murals of animals spanned the career of Charley Harper. Wandering OTR

Dig this Higher Level “Lookin Good” mural on the Know Theatre. Spied friends hovering around Gomez Salsas. Speaking of murals, solid light on the WHBV Strongman—fitting after having just toured their new space. Rounded out the evening with a finely mixed cocktail at Japps mixed by the one and only Molly Wellmann.

Mural by Yoyo Ferro

Caught the final high five as Yoyo Ferro and team wrapped up their mural in Over the Rhine for Artworks and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful. These colorful chickens can be found at the intersection of Goetz & Plough Alleys (behind 1432 Main Street).

OTR Bike

OTR Bike artwork by Michael Stillion (more of his OTR collages) Bonus from the evening? A gift of some fine beard elixir. Been using it a few days, it’s dandy. (Thanks Maya!)

Mike Perry mural

This mural by Mike Perry, opposite another favorite in the Clay St. alley. (Previously…) Our Cincinnati tee in the storefront of Park+Vine. (Coupla phone snapshots because the light was so nice.) I super love the lunch and brunch counter at Park + Vine I should mention. Quite fond of the Raw Raw side and macaroni […]

Mom and the Shepard Fairey mural

A bit of the Aung San Suu Kyi mural, and mom.
