A new system for old games

I’ve been wanting to play old Odyssey2 games ever since reading this interview with Ed Averett. He’s responsible for all of the initial games on the system, and most of the others too.

The Odyssey2 was the first video game console in the Glass household growing up. My guess is that dad bought it in late 70s/Early 80s at the Philips Magnavox store in Amelia. They had the coolest light up sign.

So to relive the memories I bought a CanaKit box for emulation.

Today I put it together. I’ll figure out the rest soon enough.

In other news, the sun shone on the bookshelf this morning and I made tasty flatbreads for lunch and used leftover chicken to zhush it up.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day.
