On this Memorial Day George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for using a counterfeit bill at a convenience store.
Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds despite struggled pleas from Derek and those recording the murder.
The video spread rapidly, and it was indelible… beyond horror.
Alerting entire generations to underlying systemic racism gone unchecked.
It is time to become better, reform our approaches and hold those accountable.
Time for change.
