Begrudgingly bid adieu

Started the day with coffee and CBS Sunday Morning. There was a segment about coronavirus… The United States had the first recorded casualty. It didn’t sink in at the moment, but this is the first time I heard the respiratory disease referred to as COVID-19.

After that? We watched the first episode of Kidding, which I never took to, but with Ray and Sheila’s strong recommendation I would tear through the rest of the first season over the next week. Dark and weird and good.

We spun the new Harry Style’s record, again—which sounded extra buttery on the elegant Zenith cabinette stereo.

After our breakfast plates were empty we sat around the table and squeezed a few more laughs into the moments and begrudgingly bid adieu.
