Grabbed this book by Rick Rubin and I leave it randomly around the house to pick up and read one of the tiny chapters. It’s dandy for short bursts of inspiration, framing the act of creativity in poetic ways.
I’m just now getting into it, but it feels like an expanded edition of the Creative Mornings Manifesto and Steal Like an Artist.
Update: Simon Collison has some insights and links to supplemental videos that round out why this book is good.
Wait. When did this comment section show up? I need to swing by more often. Hugs from the mountain!

for your next write ups thank you once again.
I randomly turn on comments Erik, and then spam finds me and it gets annoying so I turn them off again. I need a better system.
And whatever Melva. I removed your spam link and left your nonsense comment.
