I have vague memories of “helping” make lasagna with mom. The only thing I recall is that the wide noodles were really delicate and ripped but it still tasted great in the end. Now that I’m old…er, I realize those lasagna sheets were probably way overcooked.
With the colder weather I thought I’d give it a whirl with this World’s Best Lasagna recipe.
It took 2.5 hours but the bulk of it was just stirring the slow simmering sauce.
Verdict: Worth every minute. Super good. Will cook again! (Not entirely appealing photo of the result.)
