Legacy: A Concert for Cincinnati

A celebration of the Jewish Cincinnati Bicentennial was capped off with a concert by Lawrence, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue and Walk the Moon at the Andrew J Brady Music Center.

I’d never heard Trombone Shorty before but he and his band know how to move energy and a crowd. Here’s a recent live performance on television of the song I’m Standing Here and his website.

Hometown band WALK THE MOON closed out the night with an extended set that included lots of songs from their debut album that came out a decade ago. I got in the spirit and flailed my arms around by the time they got to the song I Can Lift a Car.
