Spent some time at the Depot cataloging 15 years of work with Tom and making piles of stuff—stuff we need to dispose of, take to our respective homes, give to friends, or find some other solution.
At one point I’m snapping photos of tags and signs for posterity while he’s picking out one example of every shirt we’d printed. I ask him if he finds the process sad.
He doesn’t hesitate and replies “Not at all!” and goes on to say the experience was awesome and he’s proud of what we did. And then we reminded each other that we can still make new stuff again someday.
And we will.
One of the best parts about hanging with Tom is spinning around the Yin and Yang of feelings and ideas and ending up somewhere new.
