October started off with a bang and never let up.
It began with the wedding of these two splendid gentlemen. The weather cooperated and we were treated to a lovely ceremony and a legendary meal. Seriously, every dish on the plate was dinner was extra good. The carrots were smoked for hours the day before, and then grilled just before serving and I have filed away the taste permanently in memory.
There are like a dozen such memories I have of flavors that combine with moment. (I’m making a list of those for another post.)
For now, I want to reflect on these fine souls and the honor to witness their union.
