Grid Studio takes de-commissioned electronics of all sorts and mounts them beautifully. (They ship from overseas and their packaging is also quite solid.)
In my mind, the peak of smartphone design was the Apple iPhone 4. Everything else is just a riff off of this until the next leap happens.
