Mario Kart Live

You know it before you click the BUY button.

This is not a thing that will bring sustainable joy, Mario Kart Live — but it’s novel in an exciting way.

First blush? It’s an incredible feat to have a remote control car with a camera you can race around in augmented reality on your game system and see things from the perspective of the driver in your home space.

But like all the Nintendo Switch, it’s not fully baked. Range is limited. Things are just a little wonky. But cool enough to lend a thrill.

A thrill that lasts a little bit, and then you should pass it on to a friend with a similar itch and let them git it out of their system.
