On this May evening, I spent a good chunk of time reflecting on who I am, what I know, and what could I possibly share with others to be of some value. My research for this evening was to watch The Muppet Movie.
As a kid, watching Kermit ride a bike was the most amazing special effect I had ever witnessed.
Sidenote: When I went to Ohio State as a freshman, CDs were just becoming popular. I went to the big record store called Magnolia Thunderpussy, which is a ridiculous and funny name for a joint. I asked the longhair at the counter if they had the soundtrack for The Muppet Movie on CD and he said deadpan, “We don’t carry that kind of music.”
I never gave that store a single dollar during my entire undergraduate career because of that quip.
