Trivia night fundraiser up in Oxford. Our table’s theme was “Forever Lazy” because it involved the least amount of effort. We donned pajamas, slankets, and the aforementioned As-Seen-On-TV polyester get-ups. We also won, but even losing would’ve been a blast I’m most sure. Caustic

If we get ink on a shirt, there is recourse. Some caustic agent can be blasted onto the garment to save it for another day. The downside is that it’s a process filled with fumes. The upside is that Tom walks around looking like this.

Experimenting with jewelry

Walked into the studio and Tom was laying out all this jewelry on the table. It’s an exploration for a project he’s been working on. I asked if it was cool to make a photo and  share online. He said sure. Looks a bit Dorling Kindersley-ish in this manifestation, but he pushed it in different directions since.

Tom’s been wanting drums for 10 years or so. In fact, the studio was supposed to house such musical instruments originally, but the press took over. But this year he’s been taking lessons and it was time to make them materialize. So for Christmas he got this sweet vintage Ludwig set with a natural finish. [...]
