I’m traveling around California this month. Man it’s pretty.

Well, technically in Newport, Kentucky. The Reds won the division title this night, but I was in bed by the time that happened.

Snapped this while my stomach was happily full from a three course meal at Nicola’s with friends.

I didn’t see Where the Wild Things are on the day of this photograph, but it has stuck with me ever since I caught a matinee some Saturdays ago. It’s really a beautiful film. And I’m reminded of it as autumn stretches evening light through the trees.
