We’re having a string of gray, wet days here in Ohio.
Here’s the same view from Devou Park in sunnier, blue sky-ier days if you’d like some contrast.

Speaking of contrast, Tom made these salmon salads for lunch from leftovers and they were delicious.
I can’t recall the last time (if ever) I’d had dandelion greens. Chunks of apple made it extra awesome.

My friend Kevin swept through town after he visited his family up north for the holidays.

I visit favorite vistas and haunts, but I never back anything up with historical facts or details.

I need to work on that.

When playing ambassador, I always try and get folks to the top of Carew Tower to survey the cityscape
that is Cincinnati. I used to work in one of the buildings above. It was a great space.

Similar to a favorite photo from 2008, I like how City Hall is a bit more visible in this version.

My personal jury is still out on the new skyscraper. I’ll keep looking it though.

In other news on this day, I got a much needed haircut.

Most of the views of the city on this first night were taken on the top floor of our hotel, the Dusit Thani.

And our travels end in Thailand.
Just got here, time to put on something pretty and get to the cabaret.
