They’re still doing test runs, but it gets realer every day.
Dig this Higher Level “Lookin Good” mural on the Know Theatre. Spied friends hovering around Gomez Salsas. Rounded out the evening with a finely mixed cocktail at Japps mixed by the one and only Molly Wellmann.
We Have Become Vikings has a new home and it opened to the public this day. Combining the forces of Jason Snell and Brandon Hickle, their new digs in Over the Rhine comes complete with screen-printing, a storefront and space for making and thinking. Pretty kick ass. Also? Patches.
The Le Creuset outlet up in Monroe has (free) cooking classes regularly. This time they took the show on the road and brought it down to Park + Vine to make a Moroccan Winter Vegetable Stew (recipe). The stew was quick, tasty and went really well with this crusty no knead bread.
One tiny glimpse of the Look Here! Project that’s all over town. I just checked out the map on their website. Want to go to all of theres.
Caught the final high five as Yoyo Ferro and team wrapped up their mural in Over the Rhine for Artworks and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful. These colorful chickens can be found at the intersection of Goetz & Plough Alleys (behind 1432 Main Street).
Always a pleasure to see R.Ring. This go ’round they were joined by cellist Lori Goldston and drummer Leo Deluca and it was good. Hankering for more. If I could be a groupie and follow them around I totally would, because they’re solid people to boot.
