Easter cornhole

Easter was unseasonably warm. But the 70° allowed for eating our potluck dinner on the deck and ending the day with a round of cornhole. Semi-related: Ed found an inflatable ball in the creek. Talk about beachball warning messages.

A very Good Friday

Had a very Good Friday wrapping up work early and spending the afternoon with my friend Brown. I even managed to get her to sit with me and the Easter bunny at the mall. We were less scared than the kids above.

My mom once told me trees like this were called “white ghosts,” but I can’t verify on the web. This might be an Appalachian colloquialism that hasn’t made the leap to the digital realm. Either way, I these trees always catch my eye on the way up to Oxford.
