Confession: I have an entire set of loose and weird rules about the daily photo.
One is that I try not to take too many pictures of food. (Usually because lighting is tough and does a disservice
to the delicious meal.)
Anyway, what’s not pictured here is a spinach salad with toasted pumpkin seeds, berries, feta and lime balsamic
vinaigrette with a side of tater tot casserole. Dag it was good.
My first visit to Mayberry in Cincinnati was a win.

I figure it’s good to have days like this,
when all that’s left on the virtual roll of film is a laundry tub getting filled.
For these images balance out the ‘colorful’ ones,
and ensures things don’t get too lopsided.

Parked the car for lunch with Wendy and the sirens went off.
Just a test of the emergency broadcast system.
Immediately at the blaring we said at the same time, “Wednesday at noon.”
I’d never really seen one like this in action as it rotated around.
Had to wait until after lunch to snap a photo as my eardrums were ringing.

Snapped this with the camera on my lap while The Brown up and gave an excellent recital.
She’d been working on these pieces for months and it was evident, much to the collective
chagrin of me and her friends who have been ribbing her all this time.
She was excellent.

I love passing by this church when the weather is just right.
It reminds me of this album I’ve long enjoyed:
They Might Be Giants “Lincoln”
(If you like the band or the album, be sure to check out this link to their awesome wiki)
