I’ve loved the following Haters Gonna Hate animation for some time:

So when I learned there was a print available, I was all sorts of giddy.
Turns out, it’s the product of Omar Noory and he’s a fellow Ohio resident.
He and Jen Adrion make other neato stuff, including some fine world maps.
Their online site and store is called These Are Things.

I stole this photo of Tom off Wendy’s desk.
Luckily he doesn’t blog so I don’t have to worry about him retaliating
with my photo from middle school when I had that body wave.

Kelley’s book is coming out in Australia and she needed a few photos for a magazine down there.
I don’t need an excuse to go hang out and catch up, but this was a fine premise indeed.
She brought out some quilts and other handywork to document.
Once things are published I’ll link ‘em up or post a gallery.

Headed down to Rabbit Hash Kentucky with the fellas to catch the 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Art Fair.
And what a dog day it was.
Man it was hot.
But there was cold beer at the General Store you could carry around while checking out the music, art, and barbecue.

Got about 90,000 miles on the ol’ Rabbit and it’s been a dang fine companion these years.
And after seeing the chrome accents on the new interiors of the updated Golf, I’m even happier with my 2007.
(Though I do like the revised front and rear design changes.)

On that trip to Graceland, a tire tread from a semi clobbered the bumpers and they’ve been dangling for weeks.
But my friend was able to pop them back in this Saturday with some gumption and a rubber mallet.

Spent the rest of the afternoon washing and detailing our cars. I mean really detailing, getting into the nooks
and crannies. Heck, I even took an old toothbrush and hunkered down and tackled the pedals.

A detailed car is up there with just-laundered jeans, clean sheets on the bed or a fine haircut methinks.
