The remnants of a Hurricane

Pretty much been gray or raining heavily Every Day for the past week or so thanks to the remnants of some hurricane I don’t remember the name of. (I thought it was Harvey but I’m wrong. This weather has been great for my productivity inside.

The river rises

Aside from the huge amounts of rain that we’ve been experiencing, this day was significant because I met with what would become my first family doctor in years. Yay for direct primary care that goes for a more personable (and financially reasonable) approach to managing health and wellness.

Snowman

Enjoying what we have

My love for snow is no secret. So whenever we get any (never enough) I try and get out in it. Spring Grove is always a good place to hear it crunch underfoot. Related to above, a different season:

First snow

Of the season that is. And though it wasn’t particularly deep and there was a layer of ice under it all, it scratched the itch, blanketing the neighborhood in a quiet moment of transformation.

A little bit of snow

Not enough snow for my tastes, but for those 30 minutes or so? Gosh it was nice watching it fall outside a cafe.

Icy Fog

Flurried

The flurries were promising, but alas, no real accumulation. One animal didn’t mind the winter chill, or that I worked from home.
