Woke up to this view with gnome in the mountains of Northern California. (Thanks Brent!) Tis the rainy season. Redbud in bloom. Waterfalls at full force. Had a fresh salad from the tiny greenhouse to pair with fishsticks for dinner. A cat in the bag. This one is Ashi.
I didn’t buy a camera, but I enjoyed looking through the impeccable Leica store. Unrelated snapshot from later in the evening of a burger place I did not try, but enjoyed their sign:
Enjoy looking out the windows on every side out here. Unrelated (but near) Chinatown is the Hustler Club. I felt compelled to take a snapshot because of Larry Flynt’s connection to Cincinnati. (He had clubs throughout the area an in 1976 was prosecuted on obscenity charges by Simon Leis.) Such rabble rousing.
Meetings all day, but I get to watch the weather change over Telegraph Hill so there’s an extra layer of excitement.
Traveling for work this week. This time I find myself in the Financial District of San Francisco.
If you look closely, the embrace is above. Erik picked me up at the airport. Then he immediately wheeled me to Brenda’s Soul Food where every good dietary deed I had done over the past few months was erased by these beignets. I don’t know why he has that expression.
