Arrhythmia

Been here with mom since Saturday. Her heart is racing like a 30 year old in a marathon, albeit irregularly. Every day some new tests. No conclusive answers. Waiting is always the hardest part. She’d rather be tending to her garden.

A special dress

My brother Robert sent a text with an image of this dress saying mom was keen on it. ‘Nuff said. What’s her size? I asked. Within the week we were able to see how lovely it was. My mom? She’s beautiful.

Christmas Day 2017

Started the day with family and ended with friends playing some of that What Do You Meme, a card game in the vein of Cards Against Humanity, but maybe a bit more “blue“. Best seat in the house that day? Lola under the Christmas dinner table getting snacks from everyone:

Carwash lunch

Mom and I ate lunch while going through the car wash. Then we bought Christmas decorations and ingredients for the holiday meal. Good times.

Thanksgiving
