The yellowish meal

Oh it might not look like much, but this meal embodied comfort. And tartar sauce? It’s easy enough to make from scratch, even if you don’t have any corn starch around. You know, for mouth feel.

Greens, eggs, no ham

Those little breakfast shooter things I usually get in the drive-thru at Steak ‘n Shake pale in comparison to a fine breakfast of greens and eggs.

Sunlight streaming in

The days are starting to blend together on this trip. By this point I was starting to find my “center” for hiking around, or mountain legs if you will. I still wasn’t confident enough to carry the camera everywhere, else I’d fall down a steep incline and there wouldn’t be any more photos to post.
