My friend’s parents have this little fella.
His name is Buddy.
When you ask him a question in the right tone, his head does an adorable tilt.
Maybe you’ve seen a similar thing with pugs. If not, here’s an excellent video example.

But in this photo (and like the ‘cat on post’ before), this is a moment of pause where Buddy
is resigned and waiting for the fun stuff to happen: like a walk, or a treat, or some lap time.

These are simple but very important goals for most species, humans included.
