To think I’ve never known there was a carnival that preceded the Northside Independence Day Parade. Incendium Arts put on an entertaining show. I closed out the night and finally caught the You, You’re Awesome set. And these girls asked me to take their picture as I headed home:

A double feature at the Holiday Auto Theatre: Toy Story 3 (so excellent) and that vampire Eclipse New Moon thing (notsogood). An odd pairing, but a perfect evening for the drive-in.

I’m always keen to see what the kids are collecting these days. I don’t get those crazy rubber bands shaped like silhouettes of things, but I do kinda understand the allure of Gogo’s.
